Schuyler Center’s Kate Breslin, in the Feb. 8th edition of the Times Union, emphasizes the importance of investing in and strengthening services that support families, particularly in light of the current opioid epidemic. The piece calls attention to a NYS Executive Budget plan to cap State reimbursement on New York City’s child welfare preventive and protective services – those services with the very purpose of ensuring children are safe and supported.
